Course Description

Designed for IT professionals who wish to get a head start in a cyber security career, this course aims to build complex and advanced technical skills essential for career advancement and help prepare its participants for the ISACA CSX Practitioner certification examination. Conducted in an adaptive, live cyber laboratory environment, this condensed hands-on course enables participants to build critical technical skills by learning complex concepts and practice applying industry-leading methods.

Participants will also be given scenario-based case studies from the financial services sector to illustrate how the MAS law and regulatory requirements are applied in real-life critical incident response and management.

Pre-requisites

  • Possess at least a basic diploma or equivalent qualification

  • Working experience as System, Database or Network administrator, Infrastructure or Data Centre Engineer or Security Analyst or equivalent

Other Information

You may wish to register for Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate exam offered by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) separately. This certificate is aligned with the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), which is compatible with global cybersecurity issues, activities and job roles.
